Katherine,
How is it that I missed congratulating you on your nomination! Sometimes I don’t know whether I’m coming or going! Anyway, Congratulations, Katherine! Oh, that’s why! (I just checked out the link you have to your other post!) Great, it’s good to know I’m not losing my mind. Not today, anyway. Okay, now I guess I should say congratulations to Katie, Bryan, GW, and Travel Monkey! WooHoo! Y’all! Mona
Mona – I have been very blessed to have had the opportunity to travel to so many places. But keep in mind, I am not independently wealthy! A lot of this travel was for business purposes (but with a little planning it is easy to spend an
extra few days at a minimal personal cost!)
I have been many, many places in the US (including Puerto Rico, I am still amazed how many people don’t realize this is a US territory!) – STILL ON MY BUCKET LIST:
– Alaska
– Hawaii
– Florida Keys
Canada – Toronto, Vancouver, Whistler
Mexico – Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Ixtapa, Ensenada
Shanghai, China
Tokyo, Japan
The UK – London, Reading, Windsor (including Windsor Castle), Bournemouth, Poole, and whatever town Hampton Court Palace is located. (I really have a thing for castles and any other historic places!)
Germany – Munich, Nerenberg
Nevis – island in the Caribbean West Indies
So, go ahead and live vicariously but never give up on your own chances to travel! – Katherine
I’ve always said that if I ever won the lottery, I would do a tour of all the great castles in Europe! However, I’d love to see the temples in Thailand and visit places like the Great Wall and various pyramids throughout the world. I’d love to visit Stonehenge and see the Nazca lines in Peru. Well, the list is too long, really. I’m sure I’d have several more places to add once I really got busy thinking about it. I’ve never been to DC or Mount Rushmore. I think Canada might be amazing. The Grand Canyon. Yep. You, btw, have an amazing bucket list! Mona
You are awesome!

So what places have you traveled? I have to live vicariously through those who actually travel and write about it!
